TALL funding

The CIO has been successful in a bid for some Take Action Live Longer funding from public health in association with Barnsley CVS. The focus of this work is to encourage the take up of cancer screening and improve awareness of the signs and symptoms of cancer.

We are planning some ‘Wake up to Wellness’ events to take place in a community venue in June and September. These events will feature feel good taster sessions, the opportunity to talk to health professionals and a lovely Wellness Hamper to take home for every participant.
